This is the last recording I was able to do with my longtime friend and drummer Chris Hill of Bensalem, PA, who died suddenly at 34 after struggling with intense symptoms from fibromyalgia, which cut our playing short that day. We recorded this live track of one of my favorite songs we ever did, called Drills. We used it as a warm up piece to match rhythm and get loose wrists and fingers, but I've played it a hundred times to calm myself, remember Chris, and center. This is a particularly raucous recording of the track, and with less ambient echo, or acoustically, it's actually kind of moving. Hope you like it. cc-by lemasney&hill.
