Many people believe that having a glass of wine with dinner -- or moderately drinking any kind of alcohol -- will protect them from heart disease. However, Tim Stockwell, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Addictions Research at the University of Victoria, British Columbia has conducted a series of studies that he believes cast doubt on that thinking. He outlined several issues that many researchers fail to factor into their studies.
