Drive Moment - Office Politics: To Code-Switch Or Not To Code-Switch?

In professional environments, many individuals—particularly Black professionals—often adjust how they speak, behave, and express themselves to be perceived as credible and competent. This raises an important question: is code-switching a necessary tool for professional survival, or does it reflect a deeper pressure to assimilate into whiteness as an unspoken corporate standard?
