Driver arrested after leaving his car to knock a pedestrian unconscious

Fri, May 8 2:09 PM → 3:05 PM Emergency services in Arlington County responded to a call stating that a pedestrian was assaulted and injured. The driver of vehicle had gotten out of his car and fought the pedestrian knocking him to the ground. First responders found the victim lying in the road unconscious with injuries to his head. The incident was captured on traffic cameras and police were able to get a description of the driver as well as the car and license plate. Police located the car less than an hour later and arrested the driver after pulling him over on Interstate 395. Radio Systems: - Arlington VA Trunked System
