Driver jailed over wild Scarborough Beach pursuit

Lee Jason Scully has been sentenced to 18 months in prison after a dangerous police pursuit across Perth that concluded on Scarborough Beach in March last year. The chase ended when Scully drove a four-wheel drive down stairs at the foreshore before becoming bogged in the sand, where police tackled him.
