Driving BA: The 6 phases of a project life to cycle to improve a major roadway

When construction begins on a major roadway widening project it typically represents about 6 years’ worth of work to get to this point of the project. In fact, for the Houston Street widening project between Garnett Road and Olive Avenue, it actually began back in 2017 when it was first identified as a capital improvement project and placed on the 2018 General Obligation Bond that voters ultimately approved.
