Driving Forward S2E33 - Minnesota Trucking Association Annual Conference

We are onsite this week at the Minnesota Trucking Association Annual Conference this week and have been participating in a number of events. There has been great engagement and enthusiasm from all the attendees and we at GLCS are excited to be a member of the MTA. Todd Waldron – CEO, Q Carriers about a variety of subjects including freight markets and optimism. Todd is also on a panel talking about broker carrier contracts during the conference. Nik Hovde – General Manager, Shefland Trucking about finding your niche in the industry. Hannah Axtman – Sr. Customer Success Manager, TA Dedicated and Nathan Schultenover – Operations Manager, TA Dedicate about the MTA Next Leader program and how they joined the trucking industry. Louis Klien – Maintenance Manager, Eagle Transport Services about the “hillbilly” four year college and there being a change in the industry with unscheduled maintenance and driver relationships. He says “If you’re the person their calling you’re the person they rely on.” Joel Carlson – Senior Cybersecurity Sales Executive, ProCircular about not only the need to have a disaster plan but, to test that plan regularly.
