from Wake Up Sydney
Wake Up Sydney — Weather, Traffic and Trains (Sun 14 June 2026) A mild, drizzly winter Sunday across Sydney. Here’s your quick snapshot of the skies, roads and rails so you can plan the day with fewer surprises. Weather CBD: 16.9°C now, top of 21°C with passing showers. Pack an umbrella. Parramatta: 15°C to 20°C, showers. Bondi: 18.1°C to 20°C, showers moving in off the water. Traffic M4 Motorway, Auburn: Crash has the eastbound off-ramp to Silverwater Road closed. Emergency services on scene. Use the next exit to loop back, slow down, and expect delays approaching the off-ramp. Elsewhere: Roads generally light. Trains — final day of weekend maintenance T1 North Shore Line: Buses replace trains between Hornsby and Milsons Point. Use the metro between Chatswood, Crows Nest, Victoria Cross and the City. Late-night buses through to Wynyard tonight. T9 Northern Line: Trains running Berowra/Hornsby to Central, arriving platforms 1-14 only. For North Shore stations, change at Epping or Central for the metro, then connect via buses from Victoria Cross, Crows Nest or Chatswood. T1 Western Line: Changed timetable/stopping pattern. Richmond–Olympic Park services make extra stops at Harris Park and Granville; you may need to change at Parramatta or Granville. Penrith–Central services to platforms 1-14 only. South Coast Line: Buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong. Buses don’t match train timetables—take an earlier service to make connections. Plan ahead Check your trip and allow extra time.
