Drone software and cognitively diverse remote teams

Eric Hauser has spent his entire career working in software engineering. Beginning with stack development and ending up in management, Eric is currently working for Drone Deploy, a San Francisco based startup that develops drone technology. Ledge and Eric sat down to discuss Drone Deploy’s business model, and how the company focuses on developing drone software as opposed to drone hardware. With commercial drones becoming increasingly affordable, the focus has shifted to developing more advanced software for data collection purposes. Eric also offers his perspective on remote working, noting how he’s glad it’s brought ‘cognitive diversity’ to his team.
