Drop Into the Mystery

from Buddhist Temple of Toledo Podcast

In this Dharma talk, Rinsen Sensei uses Tosotsu's Three Barriers (Gateless Gate case #47) as a tool to examine the way we navigate our Buddhist practice.  Rinsen emphasizes that we don't have to have a logical understanding of the entire process for it to do its work.   Often, we interrupt our own practice by insisting that we have more mental candy.  In the Dharma we are invited to let go of the mental candy.  Learn to sit and trust the sitting.  Allow for time to digest and integrate.
