"Dros rapist" Nicholas Ninow sent for mental observation

SAfm — Nicholas Ninow, the man dubbed the Dros rapist is expected back in court at the end of November after his appearance in the Pretoria Magistrates Court this morning. He was referred to Weskoppies Hospital for mental evaluation after it emerged that he has a history of bipolar. He is accused of raping a seven year old girl inside the Dros restaurant's male toilets in Silverton two months ago. He had allegedly been watching the child while she was in the play area before following her to the toilet. The mother found him with bloodied clothes when she went looking for her daughter after failing to locate her in the play area. Our reporter Neo Makwiting was in court.
