Drought, corruption and overall decay in water infrastructure blamed for Johannesburg water crisis

Johannesburg Water has outlined its plans to ensure its water system build up capacity during this water crisis. The entity has been briefing the media on the current water supply challenges in parts of Johannesburg.  Due to the deteriorating situation , last month,  Minister of Water and Sanitation, Senzo Mchunu intervened and announced a plan that would spread the impact of water cuts between communities. Water experts say drought , alleged corruption and overall decay in the quality and state of water infrastructure are some of the contributors to the water crisis. Johannesburg Water's networks manager Logan Munsamy elaborates on the new measures.
