South Africa’s Western Cape Province is battling a water shortage that has left residents wondering if there will be water the next day .As Cape Town scrambles for water, the rest of South Africa has been urged to save water as much as they can. The department of water and sanitation said disaster management was administered by the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs and that funds would be allocated from the department's disaster budget. But, the minister Nomvula Mokonyane has stressed that saving water is an individual’s responsibility.
