How much goodness has the Lord poured into our lives? Are we not drowning in it? But if we confine it to only our life and how it benefits us, then like the Dead Sea, we become stagnant, selfish, and void of true life. In a sobering message from Pastor Eric we are reminded that there is no room for selfishness in the Kingdom of God. If, instead, we allow His goodness to be poured through us to others, not only will He continue to fill us, but we will truly live to the purpose for which we are designed. We must not aim for a life of ease and comfort, but, rather one of service and sacrifice. An outward flowing life is unselfish, undefiled, and one that can overcome the gates of Hell.
