#Dr's Note | Hand-foot-and-mouth disease cases

The KwaZulu-Natal Health Department has noted an increase of hand-foot-and-mouth disease cases in the province. In a statement, the department says these cases are from primary schools and daycare centers. In all instances, the learners displayed flu-like symptoms, blisters and swollen hands. We chat to Pediatrician, Dr Nokukhanya Khanyile-Lenake.
