January is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, the campaign aims to educate people about the risks of skin cancer, promote sun protection, and encourage early detection. South Africa’s beautiful, but harsh, climate leads to having one of the highest monitored ultraviolet levels in the world, resulting inone of the top occurrences of skin cancer globally. We are joined on the line by Prof Michael Herbst, Health Specialist Consultant at the Cancer Association of South Africa.
