Epilepsy is one of the most common neurological disorders worldwide, affecting around 50 million people, yet in South Africa it remains underdiagnosed, misunderstood and severely stigmatized.The Neurological Association of South Africa says up to 70% of people living with epilepsy could live seizure-free if properly diagnosed and treated.
