Drunken Cinema, Vol. 1: Shaun of the Dead

We are starting a brand new segment here on The Grave Plot. It’s called Drunken Cinema and it’s exactly what it sounds like. We get toasted like marshmallows and record a DVD commentary. No recaps, no reviews, just slurred little nuggets about the movie. This will be a recurring but not regular event. More of a “bonus feature.” Volume 1 is Shaun of the Dead. In honor of the event, here is a relevant cocktail recipe for you to enjoy during the movie. It’s called the Zombie. 1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum 1 oz pineapple juice 1 oz orange juice 1/2 oz apricot brandy 1 tsp sugar 2 oz light rum 1 oz dark rum 1 oz lime juice Blend all ingredients with ice except Bacardi 151 proof rum. Pour into a collins glass. Float Bacardi 151 proof rum on top. Garnish with a fruit slice, sprig of mint and a cherry. So pop the disc in the player, grab your drink, and watch along with us.
