DTD 135: Short sweet and to the point!

from DumTeeDum - A show about BBC Radio's 'The Archers'

This week in Ambridge Lucy has Roy in artificial fibres, Johnny being very hairy, Oliver looking after joints, Jill as a clown and armed with secateurs, Tony being run over with a Dyson, Susan as a strong black woman, listless Lynda getting sweet talked by Robert with assistance from Kate who has nothing better to do as the bottom has dropped out of the yurt market - this will probably amuse in the same way as an amusement arcade; possibly Shula has had a tent flap interchange with Alastair who has suddenly cheered up and is talking to her again and relations also resumed at Honeysuckle Cottage - presumably in the hot tub. At least I think she said something like that - listen for yourselves.Roifield and Lucy feel like Ambridge has come home - characters are driving the story, especially Tom's smelly socks. Opinions are divided over Shula being in the driving seat of a story. Lucy reckons that in fact it has been a decent story arc - Shula has been heard by Alastair whilst Neil has been such a caring husband in comparison. A relationship week, many relationships - not just one dysfunctional pairing.Jill's stubbornness over the Fairbrethern was discussed once again and my email appeared - if you want to know you have to listen to it! Lucy noted that we are all missing Roifield's lovely ladies.Roifield says we all love to hate Susan Carter - but Charlotte Martin has still agreed to be interviewed on DumTeeDum - and some of us love Susan's honesty, social climbing, openness and gossip.Legal comment on GiddyJack's name can be found here: http://www.familylawweek.co.uk/site.aspx?i=ed163469Clear evidence that changing his name will prove Rob is unfit to see his children - so his solicitor should have warned him off from doing it!Lucy's TotW: Hairy Hobbit "DumTeeDum Rob's a proper bastard" fits #Thearchers theme tune!Kosmo Hosted on Acast.
