Robert Wilson leads off this week by bursting two tyres in Wales – and he thanks the helpful residents of Nantmor. Derek has been investigating fermented foods from his compost heap. Just in case you think that The Archers is all made up the musical “Hair” is being revived this year with a new immersive production. I would like my say. Throughout her village existence Caroline followed her heart; she might not be religious, but could love the vicar; most eligible (and at least one ineligible male in Brian) fell for her charms and she fell for theirs. Her character was never distorted or altered and she provided a person slightly at a distance from main village activities. Wonderfully created and much under used in recent years.Yokel Bear however kills off Christine rather than Caroline, but I am sure he knew whom he really meant. Lucy reports Tweet of the Week: “Answer three simple questions about fermented food and win a bucket to be sick in.” Naked Fingers (nothing to do with the Filthy Fingers café) then debunks the whole fermented food fad which has no scientific basis – Lucy has also demolished the entire healthy eating lobby as it merely hides other eating disorders.
