Dot-to-dot. With 85 minutes, you'll have to shake. For everyone who's simply dirty about Alexa. Hello, you Dot-to-Dot listeners.
This is David Ward from Across the Pond, just bringing you a helpful tip connected with your Amazon Echoes and A-Lady devices. So many things and recent announcements from Amazon themselves, a recent event here in September where they talk about, are A-Lady getting more smarts through AI and large language models, and even the announcement about new hardware. Well, this is connected with really the ability to be alerted to when maybe those new preview programs come out, or who knows, maybe they'll even offer you the opportunity to enroll in such a program. So I'm not really too sure, but I stumbled across this command.
You could give your Amazon Echo just by happenstance, and I think you might find it interesting, especially if you want to stay on the cutting edge of what is available. So here's our command. We'll demonstrate. You just say, Alexa, let's chat.
Thanks for your interest. Would you like to be notified when a preview of my new capabilities is available? Yes. Noted.
We'll let you know when it's ready. All right, they're going to let us know when it's ready, so there you go. So hopefully that will allow us to know, as mentioned during the event, there's going to be like a preview program that apparently is going to go back and support a lot of the older devices. In fact, the gentleman even suggested we might even go all the way back to the original one, but we'll really probably have to see how all that unfolds.
But hopefully that preview program is something that will be coming soon, and just not to the United States, but in other regions and over in Europe and in Britain and the like. And so hopefully we'll all get a chance to try these things out. But anywho, that's just it for me and this brief tip this week about how to stay on the cutting, bleeding edge of what's going on with the Amazon Echo. If you'd like to find out more about me, you can always look me up at goodwillvalleys.com slash newvision.
That's all lowercase and no spaces, or you can check me out on the Echo Tips podcast. But we thank you for listening. Hey guys, just jumping in at the end here to say, firstly, what a brilliant demo. Thank you, David.
Thank you so much. And do check out his Echo Tips podcast. Really amazing. But just to flag that this Let's Chat, or you can also say Let's Talk feature, is coming to the U.S.
only to begin with. So if you're in the U.S., by all means say, hey lady, let's chat or let's talk, and you will be the first to get it when it's rolling out across the U.S. But all of us in the rest of the world, we're going to have to wait a little bit longer. Thanks a lot, and speak in through.
