At Degrassi, the students are getting ready for the Sweetheart Dance. Spinner's life plans begin to fall apart when he doesn't get into police college, until he gets an unexpected visit from an old friend. Clare has to decide between K.C. and Conner when both guys ask her to the school dance. Meanwhile, Kelly and Emma reveal their feelings for each other and go on a date. Later, Spinner is willing to try anything to win Jane back after disappointing her. Clare agrees to go to the dance but not with the guy she really wants to go with.
