[Arabic] Dua Arafa |
Hashem Nabil
A full Arabic recitation of Dua Arafah, the deeply moving supplication traditionally attributed to Imam Hussain ibn Ali (peace be upon him), recited on the blessed Day of Arafah. Dua Arafah is a journey of the soul — a duaa of gratitude, longing, repentance, humility, and complete dependence upon Allah. It moves through the blessings Allah placed within us before we could even understand them, the weakness and helplessness of the human being, the reality of this world, the certainty of death, and the desperate hope of a servant standing before their Creator asking not to be turned away. In these words are tears, awe, gratitude, fear, hope, and surrender. It is a supplication that strips away distractions and reminds the heart that without Allah we possess nothing, control nothing, and return to nothing except Him. This recitation is performed entirely in Arabic by Hashem Nabil in a slow and reflective style intended for contemplation, stillness, and sincere connection with Allah. May Allah soften our hearts through these words, forgive our sins, accept our repentance, and allow us to return to Him with hearts that are sincere and alive. May Allah bring light to every heart carrying hidden pain, grief, fear, loneliness, guilt, or hardship. Please remember in your duaa the oppressed, the imprisoned, the displaced, the forgotten, and those separated from the people they love. May Allah be their Help when they have no help, their Strength when they have no strength, and their Companion when they feel alone. May He mend what has been broken, ease what has become unbearable, and never leave them to anyone but Him. Read Alfurqan | Islamic Duaa & Spiritual Reflection by Hashem Nabil Qur’an. Duaa.
