Dual Enrollment, Workforce Pell, and the Future of Career Pathways

All4Ed recently released three new policy publications examining how federal and state policy can strengthen pathways to college and careers and expand opportunities for students nationwide. The Implications of Workforce Pell for High School Students: Examines how expanding Pell Grant eligibility to short-term workforce training could affect high school students, course-taking, credential attainment, counseling and advising, accountability, and career pathways. • Testing the Promise: Building State Data Systems That Connect College and Career Readiness to Results: Looks at how states use college and career readiness indicators in their accountability systems and whether those measures are actually delivering the outcomes they are intended to support.
