In this era of being WOKE & conscious AFRICAN-AMERICANS or BLACKS in general seem to be more willing to embrace their AFRICAN roots, whereas other BLACKS are content with being called an AMERICAN. Some conscious groups only refer to themselves as AFRIKANS or MOORS and reject the American moniker altogether, whereas others are curious about AFRICAN culture but understand they are more American than anything else. Very few BLACKS live out their American experience without being torn between these thoughts at some point in their lives. MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask.
