断り文句　excuse to say no/turn down (#253)

明日ちょっと用事があるって、断り文句に使った。 I used “I have plans tomorrow” as an excuse to say no. 「忙しいので…」はよくある断り文句だよね。 “I’m busy” is such a common way to turn something down. うまい断り文句が思いつかなくて、無理やり付き合った。 I couldn’t think of a good excuse (to say no), so I ended up going along with it. 「家族の都合で…」っていう断り文句使いすぎてバレそう。 I’ve used (the excuse) “family stuff came up” so many times it’s getting obvious. 飲み会断るときの断り文句、もっとバリエーション欲しい。 I need more variety in my excuses for turning down drinking parties.
