The Anaheim Ducks went on a five game road trip through Canada and what a trip it has been so far. The Ducks are 2-1-1 in the first four games. They beat Winnipeg, then lost to Montreal and Toronto before winning in a wild comeback against Ottawa yesterday. This week the Ducks roster saw changes each game as the injuries started to mount. Anaheim lost David Perron to a shoulder injury in the game against Winnipeg. Simon Despres was then injured in the game against Montreal and was sent back to California to be evaluated. Kevin Bieksa was the next victim to receive an injury in the game against Toronto.The Ducks also lost Ryan Kesler this week as he had to return home to handle a personal matter before the Toronto game. The Ducks did see Sami Vatanen and Chris Stewart rejoin the team this week. Stewart finally was able to play in the game against Ottawa. Shea Theodore was recalled getting to play in the game against Ottawa too.We discuss the road trip, all the Ducks injuries, and how the outlook for the playoffs will be for Anaheim.
