Ducks Surge Ahead of Canadian Road Trip

The Anaheim Ducks have won four games in a row and now find themselves in first place in the Pacific Division. The San Jose Sharks have lost six in a row making the Pacific Division a toss up between them, Anaheim, Calgary, and Edmonton. The Ducks do control their own destiny as they hold a two point advantage over San Jose and Edmonton. One reason for the Ducks success has been the captain Ryan Getzlaf, who was named the 3rd star of the week by the NHL. He had seven assists in his last three games. Another reason for the Ducks winning ways has been Jonathan Bernier who has gone 8-0-1 since his regulation loss back on March 5th to Vancouver. He had a 1.64GAA and .944 SV% during that time span.
