Dude, Where's My Communicator?!

We’re watching Star Trek: Enterprise Season 2, Episode 8 “The Communicator,” but only Jamie has actually watched the episode. Malcolm accidently leaves his communicator on a pre-contact planet and attempts to recover it go sideways when Archer, for the first time ever, decides to take advice from T'Pol, which he then misapplies to disastrous consequences for everyone living on that planet. Sure he may have started a world war, but the important thing is that he learned an important lesson about... something.
