With the win, the Blue Devils snapped Notre Dame’s home game win streak at 10 games and took over sole possession of second place in the ACC behind league leading Miami. There were signs of optimism early in the game when Notre Dame took a 2-0 lead to start the game, but the Blue Devils tied the score at 2-2 and never looked back.  Duke led by as many as 22 points in the second half. Duke (18-3, 9-2) was led in scoring by Paolo Banchero with 21 points. Notre Dame (14-7, 7-3) had its lowest point output since the 2012 season. Paul Atkinson, Jr. led the Irish in scoring with 14 points and pulled down a team-high nine rebounds. The Irish only shot 28% from the field (17-61) and 17% from three-point range (3-18).
