Various comments were made about some turgid writing this week.Dusty Substances thinks the geese will be an opportunity for optimism over the next few weeks with an inevitable cock fight between the geese and the turkeys on the local dining tables come Christmas.For Lucy’s benefit Smethurst’s book confirms (from Godfrey Baseley himself) that Ysanne Churchman died as she had been attempting to convince cast members to join a trade union to get union pay rates.
