Dumb and Dumber
from Sloozar Hosted by Mike Ducheine
In the movie Dumb and Dumber, the writer managed to paint two characters - both really dumb - with one dumber than the other. Naturally, the audience is entertained effortlessly. It seems the dumbness of the two main characters has overshadowed the stupidity of the supporting actors which would leave smart individuals scratching their heads. Was the writer trying to point to the two main characters? Was he trying to bring out the confusion of many caused by the dumbness of the two? Was he trying to confuse the audience? Irrespective of the objective, it's just a movie. Much less one can say about the state of affairs in Washington. The dumbness of the president and the Republican Legislators is not funny; in fact, it's dangerous and should alarm the whole country. This is not a movie. The consequences are real. The aftermath could be devastating.
