Dundee have the Wright stuff against United – so what next for Jim Goodwin?

The bragging rights belong to Dundee following a 2-0 derby triumph over Dundee United.   After his sensational opener, the team ask: has Drey Wright been the Dee’s best signing of the Steven Pressley era?  There is praise for Ryan Astley’s defensive dominance as Pressley’s tactical instructions fall on deaf ears…no harm done.  And where Simon Murray watched the game from as the victory is dedicated to the Dark Blues’ injured skipper.   United, meanwhile, were left licking their wounds and ruing a performance of ample possession but little penetration.   Did Jim Goodwin get his team selection WRONG and could Zac Sapsford be the answer to their goal drought if given an opportunity through the middle?  The Tangerines now face a huge trip to Rugby Park on Saturday as Goodwin seeks to revive his side’s fortunes.   Twa Teams, One Street tackle all the big with Courier Sport writers George Cran and Alan Temple, alongside ex-Tele Sport editor Graeme Finnan.  You can also see us on YouTube at youtube.com/@TheCourierUK/videos
