Dune (1984)

It could be said many of us share the enjoyment of the recent interpretation of the story of this months film and await eagerly for its 3rd installment. But most of us are at least somewhat aware of the infamous first interpretation of the prophetic  journey of Paul Atredies. Helmed by The late great David lynch who sprinkles in his own brand of interesting interpretation and choices, this film for the most part stays true to most of the occurrence of the frank herbert book but may have not  stuck the landing of the true meaning behind the cautionary tale of lisan al gahib.
