More than 2,500 German and Austrian Jewish male refugees were sent on the Dunera from Britain to Australia in September 1940. On arrival, they were interned as enemy aliens in Hay (NSW), Loveday (SA) and Tatura (VIC). Family and friends of the Dunera Boys are now spread across the globe...may Facebook unite this group bonded together by history.
