El dúo formado por Alba María Ugeda Ribera, violín y Rosa García i Parera, violonchelo, lleva el nombre de la compositora villenense Lola Vitoria Tarruella (1880-1952) debido a la proximidad geográfica que une al dúo con su figura. El dúo nace desde la necesidad de interpretar en concierto música generalmente poco conocida, y de difundir entre el público la música para violín y cello. El concierto es un recorrido por distintos lugares de Europa, desde el barroco hasta llegar a los lenguajes de los siglos XX y XXI.
