Duquesne Dukes Face Major Roster Shakeup

Duquesne Dukes basketball faces a significant roster overhaul following their Atlantic Ten quarterfinal exit, with five key players, including star guard Jimmie Williams and big man Jakub Necas, entering the transfer portal. This leaves Brandon Hall as the only returning starter for the 2022-2023 season. The team also lost forwards Stef van Bussel, Lazar Milosevic, and freshman guard Dom Akins. Despite the departures, the team remains optimistic, with junior guard Ethan Anish expressing confidence in their ability to rebuild and find new talent through the transfer portal and high school recruits.
