One of the more popular diesel conversions around is the Duraburb. A Suburban, Tahoe, or Escalade with a Duramax engine. Duraburb is a Florida company started a decade ago when someone wondered out loud why no manufacturers made a diesel SUV. Company founder-owner Eric Swanson decided to try and the rest is history. In those 10 years, Duraburb has done 300 conversions for mostly affluent clientele.
