We are now in conversation with Elinor Sisulu, who is a Zimbabwean-born South African writer and human rights activist. She is a graduate of the University of Zimbabwe (1977 – 1980); the United Nations Institute for Economic Planning and Development (IDEP) in Dakar, Senegal (1981) and the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, Netherlands (1985)She worked as an academic researcher in the Ministry of Labour in Zimbabwe (1980 – 87) before moving to Lusaka, Zambia where she worked for the International Labour Organization’s Lusaka Office on assistance to the liberation movements ANC, PAC and SWAPO (1987 – 1990)
