Duru Junior Heads West, Seeks New Role

Declan Duru Junior, a former top one hundred and twenty recruit, is leaving Texas Longhorns to join UC Santa Barbara. After limited action in Austin, Duru seeks a bigger role with the Gauchos, who finished eighteen wins last year. Duru, known for his ability to finish near the rim and control the paint, aims to tap into his early potential in this new environment. Meanwhile, Texas undergoes a roster overhaul, losing nine players to the transfer portal and draft. All eyes are on Duru as he adapts to the Gauchos system and proves his worth in the rotation.
