Dust Storm Hits Clark County Again | Las Vegas News

Clark County’s air just got grittier as a dust storm rolled in from Arizona thunderstorms, adding another layer to ongoing ozone and wildfire smoke advisories through September. Blown in by strong winds after an extreme heat warning, this airborne particulate matter can seriously aggravate lungs and hearts — especially for kids, seniors, and those with respiratory or cardiac conditions. Stay indoors, keep windows shut, run your AC, and check filters. If you spot excessive dust from construction or vacant lots, call 385-DUST.
