DVS NME - Strike Wave

from DVS NME · host DVS NME

Exactly one year after his 2020 release entitled Dunklewissenschaft, DVS NME returns with a collection of new tracks that were produced between late 2020 and early 2021. This 25-track album is another obvious thematic tribute, only this time he chose to pay homage to the writing of the socialist revolutionary Karl Marx. Every song title is a nod to the German philosopher's economic and political theory. Even the album cover borrows directly from Marx, re-adapting the original cover of the 1848 pamphlet entitled 'The Communist Manifesto'. This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to his studio like Hydrasynth, System 8, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg. DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' and has been a dedicated contributor for the Electro community for the last 11 years. He shares his love of Electro music by posting Electro-affiliated news, art, mixes, albums, memes, concerts, tracks, gear, and more. This album is available for $15 USD. released May 14, 2021 Clips here: https://soundcloud.com/dvsnme/the-electro-manifesto Buy here: dvsnme.bandcamp.com/album/the-electro-manifesto
