Dying Unto Self
from Pray Without Ceasing Hosted by Matthew and friends
Dying Unto Self | Pray Without Ceasing Podcast This week on the Pray Without Ceasing Podcast, Brother Matthew is joined by the Tysons and Brother Jason for a powerful conversation on what it truly means to die unto self so that Christ can live more fully through us. Born from three themes that have been stirring in our hearts all week, this episode explores: • Disciplined Living – Choosing obedience even when feelings and motivation come and go. • Purpose-Driven Faith – Learning to be driven by God’s calling instead of the approval and applause of others. • Servant Leadership – Following the example of Jesus, who led not from a throne, but with a towel and a servant’s heart. Together we examine the life of King Solomon, who when offered anything by God, did not ask for riches, long life, or victory over his enemies. Instead, he asked for wisdom so that he could better serve God’s people. As believers, we are called to the same posture: less pride, less flesh, less self… and more of Jesus. Join Brother Matthew, the Tysons, and Brother Jason as they discuss surrender, leadership, wisdom, and the daily challenge of saying: “He must increase, but I must decrease.” (John 3:30 NKJV) The Christian life is not about self-improvement. It is about self-surrender. 🎙️ Pray Without Ceasing Podcast 🌎 Reaching listeners around the world with the hope of Jesus Christ.
