But when lesbian bars are closing down at the pace of Shane’s love life, we need to create new dyke spaces while supporting those that still exist. Alex Koones, the founder of Babetown dinner parties for queer women and trans and non-binary people, joined us to tell us about the dyke spaces she frequents, and the one she created. Why do we seek out these spaces? How have they changed over the years? How do you create dyke spaces in your community?
