Dylan Costelloe Clohessy Memorial Blood Drive

A blood donation can take less than an hour, but the impact can last a lifetime.     This Wednesday, Clare County Council is partnering with the Irish Blood Transfusion Service to host a special blood drive in Ennis, organised in memory of Dylan Costelloe Clohessy, who tragically lost his life following an accident in Indonesia in 2024.    The initiative is being led by Dylan’s mother, Edelle Costelloe, who hopes to honour her son's memory by encouraging more people to donate blood and help save lives.    Joining Alan Morrissey earlier to tell us more about the event and the inspiration behind it is Edelle Costelloe.
