Dylan Firth: Brewers' Association Executive Director on what the new Government report on the hospitality sector means for businesses

from Best of Business · host Newstalk ZB

Cheers for a Government report on hospitality, according to some industry experts.  A Ministry for Regulation review has found bureaucratic red tape and complexities could be scaled back. It's found food safety checks were sometimes disproportionate to risk, and unnecessary costs from building requirements. Brewers' Association Executive Director, Dylan Firth, says district licensing committees have caused inconsistencies. And that's just really difficult for business - you know all these people want to be doing is providing food and beverages to their customers and their communities."   LISTEN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
