Dylan Jacobs shares his thoughts on winning the NCAA 5k, doubling, his future aspirations and more!

from Running In Circles · host Zach Hamilton

Today on the podcast I’m joined by someone who’s name I think we are going to be hearing for many years to come, the one and only Dylan Jacobs! Dylan is a graduate student at the university of Tennessee and this season he has been on an absolute tear! Dylan most recently won the NCAA 5k at indoors and placed 6th in the 3k for the double. Before that he won both the DMR and 3k at SEC’s, placed 7th in the Millrose games 3k coming less than a second off of the NCAA record, ran 13:11 for the 5k which earned him the American collegiate record, and he placed 4th at NCAA cross country nationals! Throughout this episode Dylan and discuss a variety of topics including our march madness brackets going down in flames, his race at NCAA indoors, the Millrose games, what lengths he would go to in order to win the Olympic 5k, his top bucket list items and more.
