Dynamic Navigation and Determination – Dr. Minaal Verma

"The AAID is an amazing platform that gives you the opportunity to learn both aspects (implant dentistry and prosthodontics) and helps you grow and learn from such great mentors that are always more than willing to clear your doubts, help you with cases, and are always ready to lend a hand when you need it," Dr. Minaal Verma. For the first time in AAID history, Dr. Domingue is podcasting with someone internationally…and for good reason. This week's guest, Dr. Minaal Verma, is one-of-a-kind. Her dental journey began by attending dental school in India, which led to her meeting implant dentistry superstar, Dr. Shankar Iyer at the AAID India MaxiCourse. Dr. Verma realized that prosthodontics and implant dentistry go hand-in-hand so she continued her dental journey by completing dental school a second time at the University of Detroit and then finished prosthodontics school at Rutgers University. But that isn't all. Dr. Verma was then introduced to another implant dentistry superstar, Dr. Jaime Lozada, through the rigorous "Advanced Dental Education Program in Implant Dentistry" at Loma Linda University where, together, they conducted and were recognized for their research on Dynamic Navigation. Listen to this episode to find out where Dr. Verma is headed next, learn about Dynamic Navigation and a breakdown of other technologies, and the best practices to take to become involved in the exciting field of implant dentistry. The views expressed in this episode are those of the individual participants and not necessarily that of the AAID. Links from this Episode: Interested in contacting Dr. Verma?
