Vintage Summer Recipe #2Candy PicklesKeep in mind we were kids and made due with what we had. I preferer a pickle you get from a big jar at Cotsco or Sam's Club, but feel free to use what you have on deckYou will need:An empty pickle jarone pack of Kool Aid or A large pixie stick one fruit roll up or a single stick Jolly Rancher ( dont even know if they sell these anymore)1 pickle jar worth of water1. Add water to an empty pickle jar2. Open pack of Kool Aide or Extra large pixie stick and empty into jar3. Stir4. Slice the tip ( half an  inch ) off the top of the pickle5. Open the single jolly rancher and press it firmly into the pickle until the tip is flush with the top. If you choose to use the fruit roll up , you will need to scoop out around 2 inches of the pickle. Roll the fruit roll up and place it inside the pickle6. Place the pickle in the pickle jar and seal it.Refrigerate overnight. The longer you let it sit, the better.Enjoy and repeat as often as necessary
