Dyslexia: Just a Label

Even when educator Bonnie McClain isn't in the classroom, her mind's on it: she's researching new techniques, reading about how to keep her fifth-graders engaged, and preparing herself for the work she calls her "passion." Imagine her surprise when her oldest son, then in first grade, struggled to read and showed signs of dyslexia; of all people, she felt she'd have seen the signs.
